THE LAWYERS’ SOCIETY forms part of The Law Reform Commission's Sub-Committee review process of the Law on Matrimonial Causes
By a letter of 20th June 2025, the Society was invited to send a representative to the Law Reform Commission's Sub-committee tasked with the responsibility of reviewing the extant Matrimonial Causes Rules of 1960. Following that letter, the Society appointed as its representative into that Sub-committee, Brima Koroma Esq., who has garnered the requisite knowledge and experience and has contributed to the review of laws in the Country over the years; one among, is the drafting of the Fast Track Commercial and Admiralty Court Rules, 2020.
Mr. Koroma attended his first meeting on Thursday, 26th June, 2025, at the Law Reform Commission's Office at the Special Court Complex.
